"Howlin' Dog" - Dan Bucceroni - Lead Vocals, Crowd Instigator, Rabble Rowser, Part-time Drummer

When Rumor Hazzit was in it's infancy, Dan was semi-retired from his former heavy metal band, WORLD WAR III Dan and Jay and Terry had been buddies for some time. At one point, Dan had learned that Terry and Jay were putting a blues band together. Having played in several bands before with each of them, but never both at the same time, and, since the only thing the band really lacked at the time was a great front man, Dan said "I want in !!!" This was all the boys needed to hear. The band was complete. After struggling through several (10 to date) drummers, Dan finally took the throne and held down the beat for RUMOR HAZZIT in addition to singing most of the lead vocals. However, in 2009, Rumor Hazzit picked up a new drummer and Dan is back out front again, shakin' it up, layin' it down, breakin' hearts, and takin' the town....
Dan's main influences include Jon Bonham, Robert Plant, David Lee Roth, David Coverdale, Carmine and Vinnie Appice, Jeff Tate, and Scott Rockinfeld. In addition, he has studied wth Steve Smith of Journey, taking part in a drum clinic, and also played with such greats as Len Neri and Jimi Bruno of the Budy Rich Band. He also played in a band called Shove with a local guy named Tommy Kiefer
who went on to play in Cinderella. That's also where he met Terry.
Dan will always be considered the driving charismatic force which gives the MIGHTY RH it's edge.

Terry is, first and foremost, a fan of all things guitar. He picked up his first guitar at age 12, being first attracted to the folk-music boom of the early 60's. In addition to these groundbreaking artists, Terry had been most strongly influenced by Jeff Beck, Carlos Santana,Mike Bloomfield, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford and about a million others. He joined his first band The High-boys, at age 15 and has been playing full or part time in various Philly area rock bands for over 45 years. He is a founding member of RUMOR HAZZIT, he is married and has a daughter.

As a young boy, Jay, the other founder of RUMOR HAZZIT, was drawn to the drums and took lessons in school for and joined the band in grade school. As he got a little older, he eventually bought a full kit and began practicing in his room. One day, a new kid in school came over, none other than Howlin' Dog Dan, and played his drums. Jay was all at once, blown away by his talent, and overcome with the realization that he was not cut out to be a drummer. Luckily, also having an interest in bass guitar, he sold the drum kit and bought a bass. Before long, Jay and Dan weree jamming together with a few other friends and formed their first band. Having enjoyed some local success over the next few years, they gelled as a rhythm section and became the best of friends. Just as things started rolling for them, Jay decided to quit playing altogether and concentrate on raising a family.
After an 11 year sabbatical, during which, he toyed with other bands now and then, including two with Dan, Jay was finally lured back to the stage. After a few years in a classic rock cover band called Sidewinder, Jay found himself hungery for something a little different. Dan and Terry had set up a jam at RPM Studios in Philly and needed a bass player. Dan naturally thought of Jay. The jam went well and the guys got along great but all said goodbye that night. A few weeks later, Terry and Jay were talking one day decided that it was time to put a blues band together. Before long, the calm, quiet air in Skippack PA. bore witness to the birth of RUMOR HAZZIT.
Jay plays bass, sings lead and back-up vocals, and blows the ocaissional blues harp for THE MIGHTY RH.

Over the next several years, John continued to write and record his own material and perform occaisionally with local bands.
